New album from the canary band Amarouses. A live recording LP from the mythical music hall Sala Paraninfo
In this apocalyptic year we’re living through, we must highlight a special celebration. On Friday, the 30th of October, “Creating the Monster X” will be published in every streaming platform by Resilient Records, the famous music label from Barcelona. An extended re-edition that commemorates the tenth anniversary of the first official album from the canary band The Amarouses. An album that projected his career out of the islands.
This new re-edition contains a re-mastered version of this famous EP, a live recording LP extracted from their opening concert in the famous music hall “Sala Paraninfo” and also a home-made demo of their first hit “Drinking Up” recorded when they were just an electronic duo. This last demo will be re-mastered, re-mixed and it will be published in every streaming platform for the very first time.
The idea of this project came up from the guitarist of the band Rodrigo Leite, who is now a musical producer in Barcelona. During the lockdown, he took some of these old records and brought them to life after ten years of its publication, offering new content to the fans despite not being able to plan new concerts due to the geographical distance between the members of the band.
The art cover of the same was designed by Coré Ruiz and it’s inspired by the original cover made by Guacimara Ramos Santana.
