‘Canarias Orgullosa’ (Proud Canary Islands) is an equality and diversity space where we pretend to put together activities related to the LGBTI Proud Day coordinated by the Canarian Gobvernament.
Canarias Orgullosa is an equality and diversity space where we pretend to put together resources, tools for recognition and celebration of LGTBI realities in the islands. Through presentations, digital materials and contests we want to share, to talk and to transmit the memory, concerns and reivindications from lesbian, gays, bisexual, trans and intersexuals communities from the islands.
The Canary Islands is composed by a pot of identities which identifies us as a curious society and open for new realities. From this space we want to set an open dialogue between different realities at the same time we are proudly celebrating the sexual diversity of our archipielago.
We invite you to participate in the different initiatives to know the different associations which give the LGBTI community’s diffusion in every island.
Because we are Proud Canary Islands of you, whoever you are and whoever you love.
