Agente Pop is in orbit with his new album from his playroom “EN ÓRBITA”

Facing an uncertain future, a look through the past can transport us for a second to better times. With this first definition Agente Pop, the single project of Gonzálo López, an eclectic musician who has been playing many other genres, wrote an album focused on the music he used to listen to on the radio when he was a child. From The Pekenikes, Los Bravos, Los Brincos, Los Diables, Fórmula V and Los Puntos to The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who and The Jam and taking influences from Los Flechazos and Cooper.

All these bands have been mixed into a gigantic “brainstorming” to create the basis which holds the project AGENTE POP.

In his studio, “El cuarto de los juguetes” (The playroom), the project has been shaping little by little throughout 2020 and 2021 facing every single phase of the recording and enjoying all of them.

It’s an auto edited work where Gonzalo López has assumed every part of the recording process (composing, singing, playing every instrument, recording, mixing and designing the graphic content) in an album where we can find different styles such as mod, ye-yé, indie-pop, ska and power pop.

The album “En órbita”, is presented in a digipak format and contains 11 songs and also a “bonus track”.
