In 1891 our doors opened for the first time and without leaving that spirit of food market, here we remain!!!
We keep opening our doors every day, we keep attending our customers, we keep offering the freshest products in our fruit shops, butcher’s shops, fish markets… and offering them all the best services (shoemakker, watchmaker, barber shop, florists…); together with the food market we form a great family.
In 2011 the market began its reforming, adding to their offer the experience of the “sale and tasting”, a new concept at that time. Turning ourselves in the first food market in Canarias to add gastronomy to their offer, being the first “gastromarket” in the islands.
You will find without a doubt the freshest products of the city, services and a varied gastronomic offer combined with an endless amount of cultural activities: live music, vinyl DJ, street markets, festivals, concerts, fairs, gastronomic events…, all of it in a unique setting in the area of La Isleta, one step away from Las Canteras beach and in a BIC (good of cultural interest) building as an example of the Modernist architecture with wrought iron.
Nowadays it is formed by 30 establishments dedicated to the traditional market and services, 19 catering establishments, establishments with a wide gastronomic offer which speaks of the city’s culture, from Canarian products and cuisine to, Italian, American, Nordic, Japanese, Iberic, Galician, salted…, a whole world to discover with us. Come to live the market, come to feel and enjoy it, we are awaiting.

Our schedule, from the 20th of September will be:
- Mondays to Wednesdays from 8:00 to16:00
- Thursdays to Saturdays from 8:00 to 24:00
- Sundays from 12:00 to 17:00
