First work of the band from the Canary Islands Ron Voodo, hard rock with their own identity

In this agitated year and from the 10 of August of this 2020, the first EP of the band from the Canary Islands Ron Voodo has been released. 

The lockdown and the sanitary crisis have not been an impediment for these amazing musicians, who are part of the history of Gran Canaria’s musical history, as they released their discographic work.

A first EP from the band with five impeccable songs in terms of having their own sound and production. Something understandable, as three members have a place in the history of the hard rock in the Canary Islands, as members of “Krull”.

And if we add, the youth and musical quality of the other two members, it remains a cocktail worth of being listened with calm and rest, tasting each song, that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ron Voodoo, name of the band, which also is the title of the work, is formed by:

Yaco Rubio, guitars and backing vocals

Gustavo Alonso, guitars and backing vocals

Yeray Rodríguez, drums and percusión

Javier González, bass and backing vocals

Juanma Rodríguez, vocals and backing vocals

And for this album they have the collaboration of:

Rafa Santana, piano and organ and Santy Arribas, Steel guitar and
mellotron.

EP recorded in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria in the Baraka studio, by the hand of Ramón García Tubío.Mixed and mastered in London in The Mixing Factory by Santi Arribas, completing the line-up Ruben Hernandez with the graphic design.
