In our humble opinión, entertainment can include culture inside or not, but it’s not culture itself.
If entertainment includes culture, it must have respect over the art and, therefore, to the artist.
If you own an establishment who schedule live music or djs, try to find good professionals, offering low quality shows will build a cheap audience and it will eventually affect the cultural industry.
We value the artists due the respect they have for their art, to the culture and, most of all, we value the public who will consume their work.
It’s truly important for professional skills, knowing how to do the work, treating respectfully the art they want to offer. A non-rehearsal song can go unnoticed in a gig, but a non-rehearsal live concert will contribute to making the public not to enjoy the show and therefore, the place where the concert is being performed will seem vilified, abused…
It doesn’t matter if you are a Dj, a song-writer, a tribute band, if you’re performing in a hotel or you’re releasing a new album of your new songs, what it’s important is to offer a good-quality show, taking care of details, respecting not only the art from the artist, the entrepreneur who open a new business, the designer who made the poster, the waiter, the waitress… But most of all the history of music, the history of those musicians who have been adding their songs to the culture and to make us happy.
In summary, if the art and the artists are respected, the industry of entertainment and the culture will be reinforced..
