Javla is the musical and visual project created by the artists Alex Clon and Juan J. Ñoki
A mix of the darkest pop with elements of electronic music, with a theatrical aroma and influences from film soundtracks. Javla means “damn” in Swedish and connects with half the Scandinavian blood of its vocalist Alex Clon, singer of the now defunct cabaret rock band Mondo Diavolo.
Javla will present a concept album in 2023, titled “Mísero”. A creation by chapters that breaks down the phases of the loss of someone loved, the subsequent depression and the journey to the hells of the human mind. A different album, very worked and with a clear and very powerful message. His first single titled “Perdí la Fe” is available on all platforms from December 17, 2022.
The video clip, directed by Ulises A. Morales and produced by Mr. Mua, immerses us in a transformation where the shadows defeat the light and force us to visit our demons to face them. On February 2, 2023, they released their second single entitled “Vacío”. Its video clip, also directed by Ulises A. Morales and produced by Mr. Mua, puts images to a dark waltz while its texts confess those moments in which we think of throwing in the towel and letting ourselves be carried away by the tide.
With more than 15 years of experience in the world of music and more than 300 concerts behind him, this musician and composer born in Gran Canaria has gone through various musical formations. His last career in the rock-cabaret band “Mondo Diávolo” garnered a multitude of positive reviews in his numerous concerts, highlighting his performances in Madrid (Sala Caracol), Seville, Córdoba, Tenerife, La Palma and Gran Canaria. Frontman with a strong stage presence, he decides to take a new musical direction, approaching new trends and creates this work with electronic and cinematographic overtones to tell the story of his latest obsession; the loss, the fear of losing people around them and losing their true self.
