The program CON/SENTIDO, emerges from the spreading of violent sexist acts in the nocturnal leisure environments

For this reason and integrated into the Estatal Pact Against Sexist Violence, The General Public Sanity Director of Canary Island, promotes the program CON/SENTIDO, trying to develop a responsible leisure environment with gender justice.

The relations between substances or drugs in leisure contexts, primordially alcohol and the apparition of sexist violence and sexual harassment are obvious. It’s quite important to launch programs for acknowledgement, senzitation, information, intervention and formation for society in general and those who contribute to nocturnal leisure.

CON/SENTIDO program reaches to the many leisure areas of the Canary Islands with a clear compromise of forming the stuff of this places about gender studies materia, sexual violence prevention and responsible consumption promotion.

The programm rotates the concept of making things with consent (CON/SENTIDO) with the double meaning in Spanish of making things “carefully” when we talk about the consumption and interpersonal relations. The crucial values of this program are RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, FREEDOM, DIVERSITY and EQUALITY.
