Socio-cultural association EMPADE : EMpowerment, PArticipation and cultural DEmocracy

The Socio-cultural Association Empade (Empade ASC) is specialised in the youth. It is formed by Socio-cultural and Touristic Animation technicians (TASOCT), who are specialised in Youth Education, and Teachers for Vocational Training, apart from people with vocation for society service.

It has as main pillars of their work the initials that define it:

EMpowerment, PArticipation and cultural DEmocracy.

The association has been carrying out activities since it’s registration in the Government of Canarias in the year 2015.

PUNTAZO

This project, searches and spreads information with a special influence in the young population, posting on social media and giving informational sessions about the cross areas to the professional education, also teaching future juvenile reporters while guiding their process.

They also offer informational sessions about concepts of youth information and the cross education, providing knowledge and orientation of the resources of the local, insular and regional territory, both public and private, with a duration of two hours letting the entity or collective choose the topic of the workshop.

Their informational sessions are structured in four topics that are offered to the centres and entities that may desire to hire their information service, offering a content block of each topic, including general terms with the objective of offering an updated vision inside their field and service to the youth:

EmPaDe ASC has a Voluntary Work Plan which includes a global vision of the role of the volunteers of the association with a voluntary management model that focuses its action in a series of bets according to the “Plan FOCA”, which means Formation, Organization, Coordination and Accompaniment.
